In this class we will use Hatha Yoga to focus on the back and shoulders, a place where many of us store a lot of tension.
Hatha Yoga is a form of yoga that involves asanas (postures) and pranayama (breathing techniques). It focuses on physical and emotional well-being and heightens your awareness of the connection between the body and mind.
Hatha Yoga is often slower moving than a Vinyasa Yoga practice but it can be challenging, stimulating or soft, depending on the circumstances. The integration of breath while holding poses for long periods of time with intention and relaxation comprises this branch of practice that encompasses and integrates many forms.
COME WEARING: comfortable clothes – barefoot.
